4/11/2004 - Quartet Technology, Inc. Joins Extreme Makeover:Home Edition

Robert, a young man of 22 years of age was involved in a car accident two years ago. Sustaining a spinal cord injury (SCI), he is now a C-5 quadriplegic. Extreme Makeover:Home Edition approached Quartet Technology to enable Robert to automate his home using voice or switch commands! Quartet Technology was delighted to make this dream a reality for Robert and his family.

Using his All-in-One Simplicity Environmental Control Unit (ECU), Robert will regain his independence by controlling many things in his home environment. Robert now has full control of his telephone, electric bed, lights, TV, DVD, CD player, doors and much more!

After the show, Scott met with Robert to train him on using his Simplicity AIO unit.

Linda Arvanitis of Innovative Access in Winston-Salem, NC
Linda was instrumental in the set up of Robert’s unit during the home renovation.
